Got the new Microsoft Office 2007

This is really awesome! Guess what. I'm writing this blog post from Microsoft Office 2007 and straight to Blogger!

Olrayts!

My officemate Pew, who just recently bought Phoemela (his new Compaq notebook), went to Pantip (an IT mall in Bangkok) to buy some stuff for her. He bought a pirated copy of the new Microsoft Office 2007 for 120 baht. The interface is such an eye candy with its blue aqua motif. It has improved well in its graphical layout and presentation of widgets. It has new exciting features that I am yet to discover. One great feature that bloggers will surely die for is its integration with your favorite blog service provider. Yes! It's what I am doing now. I shall repeat (with echoes and woofers): I AM COMPOSING THIS POST INSIDE MS OFFICE 2007. The nifty tools that this new Office suite offers are such a marvel. It is a totally new experience!

I have to admit I am also a fan of Open Source software, but this new product that Micro$oft has just recently released is remarkable. I don't have plans to buy the original one. Buying original copies is not too "IN" as for the time being. Not to mention that I don't have the money to get one, I think it would be impractical for an ordinary user like me to get a licensed copy when after a few months a newer and better version gets released. Yeah… the usual silly reasons.

Insomnia She Purred

It's all her fault.

I stayed up until 3 AM in the morning in my hotel room browsing blogs, posting comments and peeking at some porno's. Together, my companion is a cold can of purring Black Cat Coffee Espresso (made in Thailand of course), and Mishell (my Acer Aspire 5051 notebook).

The cat is purrfect. What I thought of at first as a mild dose of caffeine turned out to be a strong and potent supplement for insomniacs. Being smitten by insomnia was not part of the plan. But its irresistible aroma and its decent aftertaste leaves you no choice but drink it to its last drop.

Just take a look at the big bulging eyes of the dark cat inside the can. No, her stare is not trying to hypnotize anyone, she just have caffeine blood inside her. She'll keep you awake for a while. A little precaution though: Don't take her for a light midnight snack, or you'll end up 4 hours in bed pretending to be asleep.

My 2 hours sleep shortage was all her fault. Bad kitty...

Gibugtaw

My favorite bra snapping Visayan "Balak":

"Gibugtaw ko inday ang imong larawan siot sa kalasangan
dala ang pongpong sa kabulakan lab-as tanaman gibathala."

This is a fraction of a poetry composed by my grandfathers. Everytime I share this line, I never fail to capture an audience. Ahikhikhik... :)

Last Movie I Saw: The Final Cut

Some people contain an organic gadget known as the Zoe implant embedded to an unborn child while still inside a mother's womb.

The Zoe implant gives the audience the fascinating idea of recorded memory. From the very first second of birth until death, all the memories of a person having a Zoe implant are immortalized.

Robin Williams stars as Alan Hakman is a cutman. A cutman is a kind of mortician who arranges the re-memory of a dead man having a Zoe implant for his funeral service.

Intriguing curves on the plot leave a beguiling aftermath imparting dozens of questions to the spectators of this film. It exhibits a dilemma between two sides of this fictional technology. Nice movie...

Testing the bandwagon

I'm with the bandwagon. Got nothing more meaningful to do but blog.
